I don’t usually reblog people’s personally pictures, but this is pretty.
While I believe being obese is unhealthy I also believe in loving your body and that’s just what these lovely ladies are doing.
Real women have posted images of themselves in their swimwearfor a ‘fatkini’ gallery asa retaliation against society’s obsession with super-slim summer bodies.
In an age where Victoria’s Secret models are viewed as an ideal, 31 women sent in their images to prove otherwise.
Gabi Gregg, a writer for xojane.com, posted a request for the images, to inspire women with similar bodies as her own (a U.S. size 18) to feel good about wearing a bikini.

Funny and sad.
Oh and the quote about women’s vagina’s secreting something to kill sperm in instances of rape was said by that idiot in 1988. Sadly many men haven’t really improved that knowledge since then.

The iPad/iPhone you are reading this on is made in China. Cheaper labor? Not to mention higher quality than American product lines (Ford/Chevy/Chrysler anyone?). AND to keep up with demand, laborers work 12 hour shifts. A huge no-no from unions who believe that American workers should work 4 hours then have a break where they are fed grapes on a pillow while a string quartet plays Vivaldi in the corner.
A moment of silence, please, for a land lost long ago.
This is sad but true. While I love buying products “Made in the USA” it is just not plausible or probable that certain products like electronics will ever be made in this country again. So instead trying to win a already lost battle why don’t we start working towards making products in the USA that we can handle, such as textiles, furniture, cookware, leather goods, pottery, and tools just to name a few. Many of these products are still being made in the USA by small companies, if they can do it on a small scale why can we bring is back on a larger scale. Our country needs to start producing again and to do this we need to bring industry back as well as stopping looking down on those whole make these products a earn a honest living, but I will save that rant for another time.
